Dlrsantapola -

I’ve used Wiber too, always fully inclusive, and it has always been hassle-free. I also have uK yearly excess insurance.

For my next trip, I’d love to try their option without the all-inclusive option (€7 versus €70) but am scared that surely the only way they can make money is to ‘find’ a scratch or similar.....

I know I have the excess insurance, but is it worth the hassle? Have you tried their cheaper option? When I was leaving my car back last time, I walked away without a hitch, but the man next to me had a scratch that they found in the door handle and had to pay €120. Coincidence?

Yes we usually go for Cheaper option but like you always take cover out here.. 6 times we've used them and never had a problem... yet! Maybe we've been lucky??but always been really good,  we went for 20 days last summer so wanted all inclusive for piece of mind, as it's free cancellation up to 24 hours before it got cheaper and cheaper and only paid £200 plus £80 for extra drive for my wife, when i started looking in march they wanted over £400, so that's whats im gonna do this year, September last year 5 days £1.50 !!
