Can a Spanish resident with a Spanish driving license drive a friends uk registered motorhome on holiday.

Exception: he can drive as long as the registered owner travels with him.

Yes, providing that you are insured to drive the vehicle. Some UK insurance companies will not insure non UK residents. (although Spanish insurance usually covers any driver over 25yo)

It would be useful to carry insurance documents with you as named driver and a signed letter of authorisation from the owner (if not present).
