Gazzaa - the UK has made it clear it wants out of the Single Market and the SM is what covers Free of Movement.  No SM no FoM.  Third country rules will then apply to UK citizens.  yes, it is possible that at some point in the future there may be a special agreement such as visa-free travel from the UK but it wont be the same rules as now.

Re Switzerland, it does have border controls for goods (customs controls).  Being in Schengen means no border controls for people arriving from another Schengen country as they have already been through border control.

Re Ireland, I'm not sure exactly what you are referring to with 'what makes ireland so special'.

I would vote remain again almost exactly as I did last time but now with much more information on what it all involves though still not nearly enough  Tbh for a start I had no idea of the impact in Ireland back then.

"...vote leave....just like everyone else did"?

I think you'll find that 48.11% voted to remain.

Kind regards,
