Hi Chelsea,

A friend scheduled to fly with Ryanair on 5th July, from Exeter to Alicante, had her flight cancelled today.

Kind regards,

Kim

Hi does anyone have flights booked within the next 3 weeks from the uk that have still Have not been cancelled yet?

We have a Vueling flight from Cardiff booked for the first of July. They haven’t cancelled it officially even though we know they have to at some point. So we also have just booked another flight on the 16th from Cardiff to Alicante because at the moment it appears that will be the first one this summer.

We have had 3 flights already booked through EasyJet cancelled. We have applied for a full refund on all of them, I personally wouldn’t accept a voucher why should we? We didn’t pay with vouchers in the first instance so it is right they pay us back in money.

Regards

Jim

On the dates you have stipulated, as it stands, there will be no quarantine requirements in Spain (unless something changes in the meantime) however, on your return to the UK you will be required to Quarantine for 14 days. It is anticipated that the UK government will amend that requirement by the 1st July, however, as I mentioned, these are the known facts for now so be aware of the current requirements in the UK

Hope it helps

The Spanish Government will allow tourists when they think the UK infection rate is low enough as not present a risk. There will then be no quarantine requirement. It looks like that will be about the 16th July from what the news and airlines are hinting at. For example, all Vueling flights from Cardiff are now cancelled before the 16th July. Other airlines are also now postponing early July flights. It is unlikely you’ll be going for a two night break on the 7th I’m afraid.
