As other have said it's not really worth it. You won't save that much and things can go horribly wrong when the guy in the pub decides he's had too much to drink and no longer wants to pick you up.

As per Elspan you can get the Airport Bus to Torrevieja Bus Station non-stop. From Torrevieja Bus Station you can get a Bus for €1,95 to La Xenia Boulevard and from there take a Taxi to Billa Martin will cost you probably €10.

I do this quite often.

Bus from airport to Torreveija 7 euros

Bus from Torrevieja to boulevard 1.55 euros

Bus from boulevard to villamartin 1.55 euros

Airport bus every hour on the hour

Boulevard bus not so sure, so far always one there when got off airport bus

Villamartin bus 7.30 9.00 10.30 12.00 13.30 15.30 17.00 18.30

(July and August last bus 20.00)

I find it much easier now there is a boulevard bus. Can always go for coffee in boulevard waiting Villamartin bus but plenty of taxis there.
