We are coming back out to Spain in a few weeks and then again for Easter. Does anybody know if the beaches have been repaired from all of the storm damage? Especially Campoamor. Thank you

No idea but they are usually repaired fairly quickly.  Try looking at the web cams and see for yourself.  Hope that works.

Hi, they are working hard to get the beaches ready and whilst out for walks we have seen many supplies stacked and ready to be set back out on the beach (boards etc)

We did have a walk along at Campoamor the other day and people were using the beach but part of the road is still missing and some road closures/diversions in place along the beach (just by the Las Cloinas beach club) and some of the paving still missing and collapsed, but people still enjoying the area.

Hope this helps

To add to what has been said about Campoamor Beach (playa de la glea) it's pretty much devoid  of much of its sand apart from one end. And all the beach furniture has been removed or swept out to sea.

I was there last weekend and Campoamor beach is still only accessible from the “fish bowl” end, the road is still washed away and talking to some people they say they don’t expect anything to be done before the Easter holidays.

Many thanks for your reply. I don’t believe that I am familiar with this beach so will make it my business to seek it out on my next visit.  I am sure it must be lovely.

Best wishes,

Rosemary.
