If you need an insurance quote for the property? Contact Caren at Jennifer Cunningham Insurances in Playa Flamenca.

Regarding banks I would shop around, sometimes the solicitors get a fee for recommedations from the bank they advise you to use.

I and many other long term holiday home owners have ditched the mainstream banks and their extortionate charges.

Many of us now have a Wise (formerly Transferwise) account for our direct debits, there are no charges to run the account just very small charges for any transactions.

They are also an excellent Company for transferring large amounts of funds for any property purchase.

Yes

Commission from the bank.

You do not have to have a Spanish bank account to buy a holiday home, for residency though then yes.
