Tourist Licence - compatibility certificate query

Has anyone on this forum managed to apply for a tourist licence without an agent? None of the process seems difficult, but I would just like to know if is possible to do so from the UK.

Can the compatibility certificate form be emailed to the town hall in Playa Flamenca? Or does it require a visit?

I have gone back and forwards with the idea of applying, and am back in favour of giving it a go. I realise that there is a long wait.

Any advice on the process would be greatly appreciated - and names of recommended professionals would be welcome too!

The process for applying for the Compatibility Certificate varies from one Town Hall to another, it is entirely up to each Town Hall. No reason why you cannot do it yourself but you MAY need to attend in person depending on the Town Hall. Sorry if that isn't helpful. I am not sure if the OC TH has started processing applications again yet, they have a massive back log. I have no recent experience with OC TH and unsure of their current fee as well. Maybe best to initially email them to see if they are accepting applications by email/registered post or need you to attend in person.

We toyed with the idea too. Eventually in October 2019 we started the process with a solicitor. The licence came through last week. I may be an usual case but I'd say get started asap as you might have a long wait!
