You know, of every single Chinese Restaurant I've eaten in, either here at Home or in the UK, not one of them have the dish I really, really want!

That dish is whatever you see the Chinese staff eating in a little quiet corner of the Restaurant.  Not the food tailored to Western palates 😄

Dawat is excellent. Better than star of india. I eat there quite a bit. Great value and really nice helpful staff.

2 stomach upsets in 2 weeks probably due to food that was off or reheated probable causes , one from a couple of oysters from Wok168 in Torrevieja, This was over the holiday weekend and the fish was generally quite smelly. the other was the Hake from La Bascula in Roldan served tepid. Have had nothing else in 2 years and we out quite regularly.

The Nan Kin in VM was great when it first opened but the "Dragon Lady" boss became a standing joke with us and our friends.

The last time I was there alone as the OH had to go back to UK suddenly, the waiter tried to charge me A For the wine which was supposed to be in with the meal and B 3.50 euros for a small bottle of water!. Needless to say after that we have never been back, as I object to the attempted rip off,

We found a superb Chinese at Punta Marina CC called Restaurante YU and the service, food quality and price are totally superb. It is family run and the owner "David" remembers everything we like especially the fact that the OH has a serious allergy to any kind of mushrooms - a bit different to Nan Kin where the Dragon Lady said that Cetas were not mushrooms. Try Yu - its worth a visit

Hi. We have used the Nan Kin for a few years and have only ever had one 'off' meal. Sorry to hear you were disappointed but it hasn't put us off going to the restaurant, bossy owner and all!!!!😄

We went last night, 2 adults and 2 children, all had a decent meal at very reasonable price
