Hi been all over , villa martin , torrevieja area , think ideal place is villa martin, short drive to everywhere,  beaches , proper supermarkets , street markets etc also there are loads off places like b&q , Primark etc , villa martin doesn't close for winter.

Ps  if you buy here in spain do your home work , Tax's and more Tax's.

Hi guys. Well we've finally done it. We've sold our house and will be joining you lovely people on October the 2nd. We are maybe going to rent first before we buy. I have a few questions and I hope you will help. We've been told that El Galan is a nice place. Any information would be great. Is it...

... an all year round place? We don't want to be isolated in the winter months. Is there a supermarket and bars and restaurants? As I say, any info will be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Vickie and John

Any information on cockroaches will be very helpful. TIA Vickie.

Hi

Yes El Galan is lovely and there are loads of bars and restaurants within walking distance at La Fuente.

You are also pretty central to Villamartin Plaza and there are quite a few supermarkets near by, including a new Aldi that opened last month.

It's a great place yo buy and everything is very close .

Hope this helps

Thank you for your help. I think that this could definitely be the place where we are going to concentrate our search. It sounds perfect for us. It can't come quick enough. Vickie.
