Opinions on Blue Lagoon

I'm a single retired lady tentatively looking to move to this area and wondered if anyone could give me their opinion of Blue Lagoon. I will of course visit sometime, just trying to narrow down my search area for now. Any comments/recommendations welcome. I have small dogs so want somewhere relatively private with good outdoor space.
