Hi there, we are due to purchase a property in   villamartin, towards the end of June 20, though solicitor has suggested it may be delayed a week or two.

It’s likely when we do purchase that we will be looking for key holder / property management company to check the properly regularly until lockdown is lifted and we can travel over from the uk regularly. We have no real knowledge of how this works so would appreciate recommendations anyone has for companies. We have picked up names of couple of companies from ex-pat       forums on Facebook.

We are not looking to rent out our property as such but will let family use it from time to time so looking for a company (same company?)  that  also offer changeover / linen washing service. Any info/experiences /pitfalls that people have would be much appreciated ?   it’s a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom townhouse in villamartin.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Be extremely careful. I know a case from some years ago where the keyholder asked for a POA for "payment of utilities, gas and minor expenses". Then, he sold the property and disappeared. Others secretly let the property keeping the money.

I would recommend Julie & Paul at email torrecleanandvan@gmail.com OR find them on Facebook.

They collected my belongings from Cheshire in the UK to my home in El Galan. They are a lovely couple and would say very trust worthy too.

They oversee lots of properties and do varies levels of care/cleaning re homes.

I definitely shall be using them when I have my Spanish home sorted to just do a change of bed linen and quick clean before family arrive and also when I am closing my house down for the winter months.

Kind Regards

Sue

Just to back up the above post re Torrecleanandvan.com  We have used Torreclean for over two years as keyholders and for our rental changeovers/cleans.  Julie and Paul and very helpful and do a great job.
