If you're moving to Villamartin thereally is an international school here. El Limonar. Fees look a bit pricey if you have two children. All the details are on their website

Okay There are no state schools in Villamartin, nearest in San Miguel or Torrev. If your children are over 8 and not fluent in Spanish the state schools may not accept them. This is why most parents end up putting them in private/international schools

You should be OK at 6 and as you say the other isn't ready. I would say the school in San Miguel would be the closest if your planning on being in VM. I am guessing you know about the Padron and how to get one. As without a padron you won't be able to register the child in state school

Hi there,
We are looking to move to the Villamartin area early next year.
We have a minature Maltese and wondering are there any dog walkers that you could recommend and also if we needed to come back to the UK for any reason, are there any boarding kennels?
Thanks
Shirley

Hi Rachel I totally agree with Nicola my granddaughter attends the new school in Playa Flamenca and loves it fabulous teacher learning Spanish I must say a lot faster than me.
State schools in this area are easily accessible, with nurturing teaching staff. Good luck and please don’t worry your children will be accepted and flourish.
