Hello

Here is a link regarding application for Visas and procedure... you will see Visa is only valid for 90days during which time you have to come to Spain and apply for Residencia.

All explained here.......

http://www.exteriores.gob.es/Embajadas/CANBERRA/en/InformacionParaExtranjeros/Informacion_visados/Pages/Non-Lucrative-V

Someone might tell you how long, currently,  the procedure takes & from which Embassy they applied, as it varies

Cheers

Hi were just nearing the end of the process for NLV. Its took roughly just under 2 and a half  months to get all the necessary paperwork sorted and we have appointment at Manchester consulate next week. Once accepted (fingers crossed) you have up to 3 months to arrive in Spain.

Hope this helps.

The modelo for what exactly?

You will need to fill in the modelo 720 to declare all income from earnings and wealth.
