Note that whatever you declare on the 720 also counts towards your "Patrimonio". Each Comunidad has its own patrimonio exemption level, above which you are taxed. When it comes to patrimonio declaration time if your total assets take you above that level you will need to declare them.
Note also that any pension fund that allows you to withdraw cash prior to retirement is considered as a "seguro" that must be declared on the 720 if it takes you over the 50,000 euro mark for the seguro/shares asset class.
