We are starting the process of putting our property up for sale, one of the documents we need is an energy performance certificate, do we go to Iberdrola for this or is it more complicated?. We have the habitation certificate and copies of utility bills and proof of SUMA payment just need this last piece of the jigsaw.

No - you need to find yourselves an architect who will do an energy assessment on your home and give you the energy performance certificate.
The energy performance certificate is a report that describes how efficient a home is in terms of energy consumption (electricity, water and gas). It assigns an energy rating to each home on a scale which ranges from “A” (the most efficient) to “G” (the least efficient).
If your estate agent can’t recommend one, then there are plenty advertised in the free papers.

Such document is vald for 1 year and should not cost more than 100,- Desn't need to be an architec, an authorized "perito" would also do.

Thanks we have been quoted €145inc IVA by the estate agents. Wanted to know if it was something we could arrange for ourselves.
