Most supermarkets are open seven days a week, masks mandatory, social distancing and hand sanatisor on entry.

Thank you just last year shops had to close on certain Sundays and wasn’t sure of actual dates.

Last year the Valencia government introduced an order that shops and supermarkets had to close on twelve Sundays in the year. The supermarkets decided to close on the first twelve Sundays in the year so roughly speaking from around Easter until the end of the year they could open.
