Can anyone advise me on how we insure and keep a car in Spain, and approximate cost of taxing and insuring a small car

My thanks to Floren, the guy who came to clean the chimney of my wood burner. Due to the interior to exterior flue being a 90 deg bend, he couldn’t do it without uncoupling the burner itself. Whilst it was out, he stripped, cleaned and resealed all the pipe work.

Hello my name is Frank and I'm new on this forum. Six months ago I have bought a house in Lo Crispin. When going to Spain ( I'm living in The Netherlands) I Always have to rent a car at Alicante airport. Though renting a car in Spain is not very expensive it takes a lot of time at the airport and returning the car is also causing discussions. That is why I consider to buy a second hand car in Spain. My problem is my inexperience with the car market in Spain. Maybe you can provide me with useful information and experiences you have with the same matter. Question I have are:

What is beter buying a car in Holland and import it in Spain or is it to be preferred to buy a car in Spain?

What is a roughly average amount of money you have t o pay on a annual basis for taxes and insurances?

Where do you find trustworthy cardealers near Queseda/ Rojales?

Can you recommend parkingfirns at Alicante airport where you park the car and make sure that the car is ready at arrivall and that they will take or collect the car at departure

What are average cost for parking the car at the airport?

Do you have other suggestions, recommendations in this field?

I'm thinging at a Ford Fiesta or a similar car 3-5- yeaurs old? In what pricerange do you have to think to buy such a car?

Has anyone else noticed that the outside music at Lo Crispin Tavern has increased from just Friday and Satuday to every Sunday afternoon and again tonight and over the last two weeks twice in the week also. The constant thump thump thump from the base is getting wearing when you have to get up for work in the morning. How do the Townhall allow licenses in a so called quiet urbanisation?

My husband and I are just trying to work out whether we need to hire a car or can manage with public transport services during our upcoming holiday to Lo Crispin. Please could anyone advise us whether there is a convenient public transport route to and from Alicante airport? And is there a reasonable sized supermarket/other amenities and places to visit either within walking distance or on a bus route?
