just in the middle of buying a place in villamartin,,,were would be the best place to get furniture,,new or 2nd hand,,we will be by the cheers bar, eagles nest.

Moving to Villamartin some time later this year and my main concern is how easy it would be to continue to receive my current medication.  Is there a local health centre / doctor's surgery, similar to the UK? Anyone have any experience of how easy it is to get appointments etc?  Not sure where our exact location would be as we are still looking for a 2 bed apartment, preferably with a fair amount of ex-pats to socialise with. Any info would be much appreciated. Thank you.

I need a window blind repaired  instead of tape to pull it up, this one has a winder handle  

The blind is stuck half way  metal cable needs replacing I think?

Is there anyone local to Villamartin that repairs these please?

I am looking into buying a property in Costa Blanca but am not sure what to choose between Villamartin or Ciudad Quesada.

How are they both in the winter is there any life or are they very quiet,any suggestions or advise

I purchased a property in Villamartin last July and have been out 3 times to oversee work and sort furniture removal.

I have met some lovely people in passing and now feel I can at last spend time getting to know people in a more leisurely way Would be great to meet up for coffee with anyone wanting to expand their circle of friends and find out more about the area which is new to me?

I am coming out for a week on 27th February

I've recently bought a holiday home in Villamartin (Florida Golf). Whilst I'll generally have a car, I'm trying to figure out how to use public transport to/from the beaches. It looks like the nearest bus stops are on Calle Robert Wagner but I'm not sure which side of the road I should be standing if I want to get to Campoamor beach (I think it's the side of the road coming away from Villamartin Plaza?). And where does it stop in Campoamor?

Similarly, what if I want to get to Playa Flamenca?

Finally, what does it cost? Can I just pay the driver or do I need to buy a card somewhere? And are there any special deals for property owners?

I'm sure it will all make sense eventually - in the meantime, thanks for any help.
