We have just purchased a villa in Villamartin, and are coming over this week to collect the keys 😄 very excited!! Holiday home to begin with, then move over for good within 2 years. Can't wait!!

Hi, we're just buying a holiday home in Villamartin. We'll be there for a few weeks at a time and wondered about getting a wifi connection in our villa. I've seen portable devices advertised online for around EUR7-10 per day (mifi, wifivox, etc). Has anyone used them? Are they any good?

As we'll only be using the villa occasionally we won't want to spend a fortune on a permanent internet connection - unless anyone knows of a cheap option?

Hi we are currently looking to buy a large fridge freezer. Obviously there are plenty to choose from, what I would like to know is if I bought an American style freezer with the ice and water dispenser is it ok and recommended that the water can be drank from this. I understand that a filter can be added as we do so in the uk but will this make the water and ice usable?

My name is Maggie I have just purchased an apartment in Villamartin with my son Ian

We will be travelling to Spain in a couple of weeks and wanted any advice on Property Management Companies in the

area to look after key holding, cleaning etc

Would be good to know from someone who has first hand experience of a good company and any pitfalls to avoid

im looking to buy a 3 bed house on Orihuela Costa.  I have seen a house in La Laguna / Pau 26 which I like.  It is within driving distance to villamartin plaza, via park at Dream Hill, a few mins drive to the beach.  Other than that, there isn't anything in the immediate vicinity.  The area is quiet compared to other parts of Villamartin etc.

does anyone know this area and would you buy a property here?

We are buying a Villa in Loma Golf Villamartin which has a single water heater for a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom villa.

We are concerned that this single heater will not be large enough to supply whole villa. The villa is approx 7 years old and need to find out if you would leave it on 24/7 or put it on a timer bearing in mind the electric costs. Are the newer heaters more thermally efficient as it may be worth changing over. We are also thinking of getting a separate electric shower which will heat the water separately.

Any advise would be appreciated.
