(As far as I can recall...)

If memory serves me correctly, (and it's going fast), in Spain, a restaurant can only charge a customer for food or drinks the client has actually consumed.

So if you're served the meal or drinks, then question the price BEFORE eating or drinking and the price is excessive...

I'm almost sure you can tell them to stick it "donde el sol no brilla". ('Where the sun don't shine'.)

Perhaps a more educated/qualified member of the forum might care to comment?
