I saw a Lidl in Guardamar and there's also one on the way into Gran Alacant.

There is a huge Lidl hypermarket near Torrevieja, and near by was a great indoor shopping centre with a roof-top funfair, it was fantastic!

Hi,
There is a Lidl near the Mercadona just off the Urb, on the N332 going towards Guardamar.
Aldi, is in Santa Pola, about 10 mins away driving.
Julie.

Yes I think I have the story for you here )

It was supposed to be a Plus Supermercado (logo orange and blue text and part of German Edekka - www.plus.de), but that chain just got bought by the French Carrefour who is going to fold the Plus brand into DIA which they control in Spain. That is most likely why the opening has been stalled. Might even be that they have gotten to their senses and won't open at all. The location seems a bit off and that whole area looks to become a ghost town with the financial slowdown.
