It's 90 days, then you can't return for 90 days.

Hi you can stay for 90 days in a rolling 180 day period. I normally come for 90 days then go back to the U.K. for 90 days then return for 90 days. If you don’t want to do your 90 days in one block then I suggest you google one of the Schengen online calculators so that you can make sure you don’t over stay. The 90 day rule applies to the Schengen area, so say for example you go to France for 14 days that eats into your 90 days, as does any country you visit in the Schengen area. Search the forum there’s lots of invaluable advice on this subject.

There’s plenty more on the internet

These rules have been in place for many years for non-EU people.

Well our ideas have disappeared.  I lived in Spain for nearly 20 years and I wanted to return but not now. Stick it .

Blame those who voted for it

The 90 days includes all Schengen countries. For example, if you drove to Spain through France, your 90 days would begin when you entered France.
