Hi Jon
I didn't want you to think that the only reason we are communicating was because I am selling my house, my motives are purely to assist you.
My wife is now fit but we need a smaller place. We want to stay near Crevi because it has everything to offer including first class medical treatment.
This is our second house in Crevi, the first one was 300 sq metres house plus a guest house in the grounds.....massive! This house is only 200 sq metres but even that is now too much. There is no way that we would move back to the UK, I think my wife would be dead if we had to rely on the NHS.
IIf you want my phone and email then log into Talk Quesada, which is run by the same person as this site, and there is a PM button which you can select to send an email and they don't remove the personal details.
Cheers
Richard
Hi Richard
Hay, no worries I didn’t mean to pry
Sorry if I sounded a little doubtful, I think with everything we hear it starts to make you paranoid
It’s great news that your wife is recovered
Yes, I will log on later and have a look in the forum and keep in touch
Many thanks
Best regards
Jon

Hi
My wife and I have visited Catral on numerous occasions and really like it there, so much so we would like to buy a property in that area.
The problem is that there seems to be a large amount of properties there that have been built illegally and not many of them have Habitation certificates.
We have been assured that it is not a major problem and will be resolved eventually.
We are quite worried about this, so much so we are considering nearby areas and towns.
We have never visited Crevillente but are coming out soon and intend to.
Any tips regarding the area would be much appreciated.
We are looking for a villa with a bit of land attached preferably so we can eventually bring our shetland pony with us (so not a massive amount) and not too far away from civilization.
Many thanks

Hi Jonn and Julie
Photos attached , I hope... They were taken a couple of years ago, they've grown since...
Kind regards
Richard Pack for warm weather but not as hot, yet, as the UK!

There's nothing intrinsically wrong with buying an illegal property, as long as you're willing to factor in the expense and hassle of eventual legalisation.
I can only give a personal opinion, but I've lived here for about fourteen years and have never had much liking for Crevillente, although I'll probably get shot down for saying that....

I suggest you include the area around Almoradí in your search. Plenty of detached properties with varying amounts of land, most of which are legal, and there are plenty of places to go to within a few minutes travelling.
we bought a house in Crevillente 3 years ago and never had any problems whatsoever thought that we had left bigots and racists back in London, if you don't like Moroccans or Muslims go and find a desert island somewhere there you can adopt your snobbish ways to your hearts content. as for advice of where to live Crevillente is a good place to settle it is close enough to the airport and beaches but a car is essential as in most places in Spain, the people here are beyond friendly always greeted with a smile.

I live in Crevillente for 6 years now , It is a nice place to be
What all other positive people say is true , Nice people living here
Nearby mountains , highway , airport and beach and a lot of supermarkets and hospital and other shops for example to rebuild your house
I made my house legal after 3 years arguing with the townhall , it has only 6100 m2 :-)
I am from Holland , John
