Travel insurance

Planning a trip to Australia and looking for recommendations for travel insurance.
Been advised that Spanish insurers are far more accommodating than UK ones who seem to expect every traveller over 65, or with a preexisting medical condition, to automatically fall critically ill - or worse die - the moment they step off a plane !!!
