Where can I buy a power converter from local power (220V) to US power (110/120V)?
I'll also need a plug adapter to fit local outlets but use a typical two prong plug for my phone charger and one for a three-prong plug for my laptop.

Plug adapters can be purchased from any ferreteria or Leroy Merlin. They may even have the step down converter.
But you can get the step down transformer from Amazon

Before you buy a power adapter, check the voltage rating on the rear of your existing power supply. They are normally multi voltage 240/100 - 50/60 hertz.
