Good Afternoon Everyone,

My wife and I have been saving to buy a property in the Costa Blanca for sometime and look to have the available funds as of 1st Feb 2020. We are looking for a semi or detached property in an area where we can fairly easily reach the airport from buy means other than a private car as we won’t b...

...uy one till the year after the house.  We don’t know the Costa Blanca, however as a disabled military person I need the heat whenever I can and it’s been rubbish in Scotland over the winters.  We are looking for some district or town that has some sort of bars and the occasional restaurant within a walk. Algorfa? Lo Crispin?  When would you advise me to start my property search in earnest on the ground so to speak, as I don’t want to waste peoples time placing offers early. I don’t want a new build and any advice on agents would be welcome

What’s the process for offers and what do I need when? (My wife is a experienced property lawyer back home, however no clue what to expect in Spain)

Not sure if you are still looking but I can recommend a friend of mine who is totally independent of estate agents and very upfront and transparent regarding ALL costs and the charges/process involved if buying some of which the agents (not all) will not tell you. She has a fixed fee as your property finder and works on your behalf.

I can give you her number if required.

Hi, we have a holiday apartment in Algorfa village which has several nice restaurants and a village square. I think there are more apartments available there than semi-detached properties. Montemar and Lo Crispin May have a better selection of properties for you but they are not really within walking distance of Algorfa village. Have a good look round when you come to weigh up the options and what will work for you best. Happy house hunting.
