Oh dear, looks like I am not going to be a member of your club, I have never got lost once in Spain and do a lot of driving around when there, mostly up the mountains and often take roads I have not been on before, like to explore and find new places, don't have or use Sat Nav but would consult Google maps on the phone at times, usually to find somewhere specific, in general do not have a problem with road signs which I think are very good in Spain, same goes for walking around in towns, my sense of direction is very good and always find the way back, maybe I should hire myself out as a guide 🙂🙂

Hi Sally, welcome to the club.
Like you, we are mainly trying to find towns and places of interest, new restaurants and places to people watch. I have fell out with my satnav after it told me to take the 8th exit on an island where there were only four. I solved the problem by going round twice, obviously.

I’d like to say it all adds to the fun, but it doesn’t!!  Maybe I will get some chalk...

If one gets lost does that make one a Loser?

As the first member, I am happy to host Losers Anonymous at my home in Santa Pola. So, if you are coming from Torrevieja, you take the first turning on the...

Oh dear Julie!.PLEASE don't tell anyone😳, but when I first arrived here in Torrevieja, I parked my car in the city centre...On my return, I was unable to locate my car for nearly FORTY FIVE minutes! I looked and felt a right plonker!

All of the streets in any Spanish town, look EXACTLY the same! So please don't worry...It is NOT you!...🅱️....

...

Took an hour and a half once to find the car in Murcia 😱

Aficionado, I am the same.   I certainly don’t have a satnav, I prefer a paper map.   I have navigated from England to southern Spain via France several times and only once did I get my late husband to take a wrong turning, but got us back ‘on track ‘ quite quickly.   Since coming to live in Spain I drive to the Costa del Sol several times a year (do you now realise that I love driving, particularly here?).

Impressive!

So if you saw, say, on the internet,a historic church in a town you hadnt been to before, how would you plan the route?

I have tried, several times, to find the visitors centre for the natural parc near the salt lakes , to no avail.  Yes, its signposted, but still no luck.  Last week after following the signs, and the satnav, we met four other people all trying to find the same place  .  My neighbour has lived in the area for 5 years and he cant find it either.

Please share your secrets with me, and our newly formed support group.!

I believe that it is by the side of the N332 near to La Mata.

I would look at the street view on Google Earth.
