Does anyone know when they start? I'm guessing before the Spanish traditionally go on holidays in August? Living in France, they've already started, but was hoping that perhaps might get some bargains in the Spanish sales... anyone have any ideas? In France, the sales are very regulated.... with precise start/end dates... thanks for any info!

Neither I nor my wife can remember exactly when she last went up to the summer sales.
However, El Corte Inglés have sales on all this month:

Glad you like it. I'm just about to upset Margaret by telling her - she's off to Scotland this week on a duty call - I'm sure she'd rather have been going to El Corte.

Well whenever we used to go on holidays to Spain (just bought something last week), our 'tradition' was that I got a new bag in El Corte Ingles... so have bags from Bilbao, Madrid, Sevilla, Malaga, Barcelona, Alicante, Girona.... so perhaps Margaret would be happy with that solution??? Hopefully she'll still find something nice when she gets back!!
