Hi

Can anyone recommend a good gym in Alicante? I'm looking for a general workout with exercise bike (reclined), rowing machine, dumbbell bench and a mat area because I like to warm up with some yoga stretches. Sauna and power-showers would be a plus!

I won't be arriving until April 2020 and I've looked at Liberado online which seems to be pretty good, but I would like to hear first-hand.

Thanks

Beckford

Hi, I can recommend Cosmopolitan gym in Calle Gerona, which is very central. They have excellent facilities including a pool, and everything you have stated you want. I also do spinning classes which are really good, and well attended.  A day drop in pass is not cheap at 15Euros, but its much cheaper if you sign up for a membership. They even do weekly memberships which suits me as I dont live there full time.

Hi,

It looks great. I'm there for a couple of months then I'm heading down to Santa Pola longer term. This is just right for me because I'll be staying near Oscar Espla so that means I can drop my kit in the wash back home before going to Spanish classes and then lunch, rather than leave it to ferment in the back of the car! Thanks for the heads up.
