Resorts for first family holiday? Honest Advice appreciated
Hello everyone. Thank you for accepting me to the forum.
We are a British couple with 3 girls aged 9-15. It is our first family holiday abroad and I’m nervous about getting it right for them!
We will be flying into Alicante early April during their school holidays. We want to take them somewhere not too big, safe, beautiful scenery (no high rise, ability to visit other areas with no car and has an element of authentic sain with plenty of restaurants, terraced cafes, beautiful walks, water sports etc. We aren’t pub people. We do however want to be within an area that is family friendly amongst other likeminded families whereby the girls can socialise if they wish. They want a heated pool too! We also arrive Sunday which may be problematic for a transfer and I don’t want to break the bank! I know it’s a big ask and perhaps that’s why I’ve struggled to find a resort (and a family space to suit all our needs) that also ticks the boxes and a small budget. Also I’m concerned about booking and losing money or being ripped off as it’s happened to me before so I’m treading carefully!
I would appreciate a variety of honest responses to make the best decision. Thanks so much for your time!
