I am a car transporter driver in the UK and am looking for a similar role in spain I work for bca and have noticed the have a plaice in alicante has anybody been there at all
If you have a UK passport you are out of luck. All Spanish businesses have to employ EU citizens and can only employ 3rd country nationals if nobody else can do the job and then they will have to convince the authorities that nobody in the whole EU was available.
I will look to become a Spanish citizen but need a job before I can commit to living there full time

In short you need to have been legally living in Spain for 10 years before you can apply for citizenship.

If you are a UK passport holder and want to live and work in Spain you will need to secure a job first and then your prospective employer will need to apply for a work visa from the Spanish consulate in the UK.
As Cheryl has said, all work must be offered to an EU citizen first.
