My mum was dropped off at Alicante train station but the driver of the taxi from the airport left with her suitcase still inside. Does anyone have a recommendation for finding it? She paid cash unfortunately with no receipt. Thanks.

Presumably you have the name of the Taxi Company? If so, contact them with the details. If not, report to the National Police it may have been handed in. If you have a photo of the suitcase this will help the police.

We will go to the police station with a picture of the bag. We don’t know the name of the taxi firm as Mum just joined taxi rank queue at the airport.

This is the taxi company that operate from the airport - call them & ask them to locate the taxi that went from the airport to.the railway station

I was going to ask where she picked the taxi up, but you have now told us.
My recommendation would be to go the airport in person and ask at the lost luggage office, and/or the policia nacional in the airport.
