But surely that is for Rojales!!   The Almoradi dates are usually at the end of July, following the celebrations of San Abdón and San Senén, and are not normally advised until around the end of June.

If I remember rightly Almoradi Moors and Christians isn’t until the end of July, so don’t expect to see a programme until  the very earliest a week before. Keep checking out the website or preferably the Facebook page for the Ayuntamiento.

The events are repeated every year,  at the same time, usually to tie in with a patron saints fiesta. So if you find the itinerary for last year via google, it will be on the corresponding days this year.

But a quick phone call or email  to Turismo will give you the planned dates.

In the meantime you can visit the Moors & Christians at Rojales, Algorfa, Benijofar & Guardamar which all take place before Almoradi. Rojales fiesta started last weekend - I’m still drying out from the weekends Chupinazo, but none of the other programmes are available yet.

You’ll soon learn that any fiesta or event in Spain takes months to plan, but they don’t actually start to promote the event until the very last minute.
