Hi everyone. Parking Question

At La Marina beach car park ( Dunes de Pinet, ) been popping down there for about two/three hours a day since lock down lifted, for dip and picnic. always parked in same place in the car park, in our Motorhome, as some other motorhome users do, No bother to anyone, Police been patrolling up and down daily. BUT yesterday out of the blue we were approached by the police and told we cannot park there any more. We know your not allowed to stay over night which we do not, thing is our motorhome is our only means of transport when we are hear at our apartment. We just wonder why the Police have taken this action now ?. anyone know the answer, anyone know were we can get close to the beach in our motorhome without being chased. thanks for listening, Mal & family

Ray is absolutely right, and if you look at the signs there is no real need for further explanation, it clearly states no motorhomes/camping etc. It is tolerated in low season just the same as dogs on the beach but unfortunately as high season approaches they will enforce the restrictions, quite correctly. There are areas that tolerate motorhomes more, for example along the rocky beach road area just the other side of Santa Pola, a lovely spot to park and enjoy the vista.
