I'm not sure if this reply was aimed at me but I only get involved with legitimate legal enterprises.

This post that was quoted has been deleted.

Dishonesty?.........., evasion & avoidance is by definition in Spain.(evitacion) sometimes called black-money.( & not new) In law quite different in the UK (but exists there as we all know).

I´ve asked this before with regards to house purchase (full declaration of purchase price) when completion is made. Not to mention non-contractual gratuities, benefits etc, accepting a "discount" (no IVA). please stand up, those who have never been involved in any of the above. That´s what the poster means as "the real world" I believe.

My dear friend Ray I have properties in Thailand Spain uk and dubai where I worked for 25 years before retiring at the ripe old age of 48. Don't insult my knowledge of business. I've used cash in hand in certain situations where I won't be fleeced by so call legit company's and have been more than satisfied by the work done. Spain is full of people who work cash in hand as of many people around the world so just enjoy your life and stop moaning. It does you and skint spain no good.

Final thought for the day……...

My Spanish family with six sisters, many dozens of cousins, nephews etc (I will learn all their names one day!), loads of neighbours & four offspring, all whom are legally & gainfully employed in the construction & many other service industries. In their spare time they enjoy hunting.

I live in a community with a growing number of non Spanish immigrants (who some call themselves “ex-pats” [or was it prats?]), many work for companies known locally in our community as “Bodgit & Scarper”.

You can perhaps imagine how well they are received. But (sadly to say) they do exist in the real world. My simple point is, Don´t SHOUT about it.

Right early start tomorrow….. After my poached eggs, (for which I paid in cash!),

I must get up & pay the tax on the freshly delivered rabbit, hare & half Jabalí. Vegan on the ridiculous, one might say.

Goodnight all.

Villas.
