Hi all, I'm moving to Almoradi in September and need to get some inexpensive furniture.  Can you advise me of any good charity shops/ 2nd hand furniture shops in or around town. I can travel.

Hi Dee and welcome to the forum,

Lumsden Auctions at the Rojales end of Formentera del Segura village is worth a look:

https://www.lumsdenauctions.com/

and House of Furniture, less than a 5 minutes drive from Lumsdens, is on the road from Rojales to Benijofar:

https://www.houseoffurniture.es/

Both deal in second-hand and end-of-line furniture and homeware.

There was a second-hand place on the Los Barrios trading estate, Calle Azahar, 1, Heredades, on the CV-905 (coming out of Almoradí on the CV-9231), but I haven't been there for a while, so I don't know whether it survived Covid.

Kind regards,

Kim

Almoradi has lots of furniture shops, some good some not so good, and there are also several charity shops in the town.

In Almoradi, there are two second hand furniture shops that I am aware of. The one with the most comprehensive stock is Pedro’s at Avenida Principe España , 5. Almost opposite Lidl and the BP garage

The other is Anti-Crisis at Avenida Dr. Marañon, 2 which as with Pedro’s is on a main road. This company have various shops in the region

New2U is at Avenida Don Juan de Austria 6 in Torrevieja near to the Torrevieja NHS hospital, they have another shop close by and as already mentioned at the Zoco market on Sundays with limited stock
