...rea of Quesada and we certainly don't have new bins. I am ashamed when family and friends come over to visit (only once, before pandemic). I guess it doesn't help when people dump whatever in them, so I feel we would all need to work together on this. But I totally agree that something should be done, and am happy to participate in petition or going to Town Hall, or both. Also agree the Monk person should be taken to task. Hope this helps, Maria

Besides Kay and you nobody as yet responded to this very important issue.

However,let me update you what is really happening.

First,I like you to read CHARROS responds to this issue.Charro is the health councillor in the ayuntamiento of Rojales and it goes as follows:  "Buenas tardes David 

Estamos teniendo problemas con la empresa desde el día 1 de septiembre pero estamos trabajando para llegar pronto a una buena solución  para la empresa y para el pueblo ,le pido disculpa por todas las molestias que esta situación le ha podido ocasionar.

Un saludo"

Next is a response from a councillor who belongs to the PADER party in Rojales which is the opposition Party in Rojales ayuntamiento,his name is DESI(The owner of DONDE in Quesada which I have known him for many years...) and it goes as follows:

"Sencillamente porque los datos que le facilitaron a la empresa cuando el contrato eran del año 2016, DESFASADOS y la empresa se ha quejado y ha dicho que recogerá todos los días los 580 contenedores, aunque en la realidad hay más de 740 contenedores, solo de basura, aparte los del reciclado de cartón, plástico etc."

"“Siempre me dices lo mismo” y a todo el mundo. Esto no tiene solución hasta que se acabe el contrato dentro de 20 meses"

So you can see the efforts that I am putting in.

Regarding the Petition (Kay's idea) I am still looking into it and will keep you posted.

After great efforts,it looks like that the refuse collection in our area of Pueblo Bravo urbanisation has now being collected daily.no, it's not a "flouck",it's simple a result of hard work.

May it continue.its so nice to wake up to the noise of the Lorry that collects the rubbish and soon after to see the area around the bins are clean.

PS

I also used the new town hall application,called LINIA VERDE, Google or apple store has this application and you can report any issue to the Ayuntamiento and the COME back to you.this app is also in English.good luck.
