For sale: SOLD - DESPITE THE HELPFUL COMMENTS CDs Collection Part 1

49 CD's originals collected over the years - now moving unable to take them with me - buyer to collect

The whole lot was up for 75 Euro, but ive been advised by other members thats not a realistic resale value so NOW SELLING THE 49 FOR 48 EURO - not able to load all images so will do a second ad with the remaining CDs available

I count 29 CDs in total is that right?

That would make it an average of ~€2.50 each when typically at boot sales and charity shops etc. they are priced at €1 or less and frankly for an eclectic mix like that I think you'll be lucky to get an offer of €20 for the lot.

If you need to shift them quickly my advice would be to chuck the lot into Lumsdens for auction, otherwise you may well find yourself giving them to charity for nothing on moving day.

Yes I’m totally with Darro on this one.

CD’s are unfortunately outdated technology.

As above. I hate to say it but you will be lucky to get 15 euros for your collection. Like dvd's, for some reason people do not want them any more. I have seen lots of 200 dvd's on here sell for about 30 euros etc. I would throw cd's in to that bracket as well. The maximum you can realistically expect is one cd for a euro. It beggars belief as people are happy to pay 1 euro for a single song off itunes, but won't pay the same for a whole cd. It's a strange world. All the best in your sale.

Thank you guys for your helpful comments - there are actually 49 CDs but i had real difficulty in putting photos on for every CD cover - taking on board your thoughts i will reduce the price to 48 Euro now - regards Ji
