Hello

Are you living here legally ( with TIE/Residencia)  do you own a holiday home or are you a visitor/tourist?

Cheers

Hi Ella,

If you become a legal resident here in Spain then you would pay your taxes here in Spain. You would become a tax resident after living here for 6 months. You would need to fill in the Dual taxation form to send to HMRC which would allow you to pay taxes to the Spanish tax man instead of HMRC. I think there are a couple of UK government pensions that are always taxed in the UK such as a police pension etc.

As per Steve's reply above, but the tax thresholds are far less here in Spain. You really need to get advice from a tax advisor.

You might find the link below useful. All public service pension income is taxable only  in the UK, for example, Civil Service, NHS, Local Government etc. Check the gov.uk website for further information.
