Benidorm & money
Hi
I am going to Benidorm soon. Is it better to change my British pounds before I go, or change my money to Euro’s when I arrive in Spain?
I would appreciate any other tips and advice as well.
Thanks in advance.

I usually change mine at europound in the indoor market or medeterraneo ave, just take your passport, they will copy it and give you a card, you only need the card for all future transactions then.
Beware of street money exchanges as you do not always get the advertised rates for smaller exchanges and also steer clear of the street ATM machines as the handling fees are high
You ask for other tips and advice and I would say do not go out carrying your passport, all your credit/debit cards, etc. Not a week goes by on this forum without someone reporting their bag or wallet lost or stolen. Be vigilant of your possessions at all times, and that includes at the airport. Have a great stay.

To be honest, it makes very little difference which way you do it as there is no real gain either way. The exchange rate fluctuations are dramatic day by day so there are no predictions for any time.
As said, the indoor market is the safest place to exchange any money.

I always use cash personally
