You are making a massive assumption that Brits will flood back to the market places of Spain and the rest of the EU. This may only happen if prices take a massive tumble and properties become so cheap they may prove irresistible.
Many potential buyers from the UK and maybe from further afield will be seriously looking at their finances when this awful pandemic is under control, but I would say IMHO that 2021 may POSSIBLY see any upturn in property sales anywhere, and as a confirmed optimist that I think is a long shot timewise. As a former owner of a place in Orihuela can I just say to all of you be safe, take care and these dark clouds will eventually disappear STAY SAFE EVERYONE from all in the UK>
