Hello, Callosa it is only 12km from Beni, not 16miles. It is a village with all the services and you could find a cheaper house. Not English around here and most of the locals speak catalan in its valencian dialect. It is not a bad place, around the mountains, very different from Beni. Although It´s only 12km, the roads are all roundabouts and in fact it takes almost half an hour to get to beni by car. There are a few buses to get there, but not a good idea to use them everyday because of the gaps between them. Greetings

i was checking google map roads and they look empty enough so i cannot understand how it would take me an hour, in 1 hour i can drive 150 kilometres ( in thailand  that is )

is it really possible to find a cheaper house around here and how please

should i go look around and check local agents or look for signs for sale on shop windows etc

What fuel are you using to attain such speeds - seems to me it could be bull**** !

I lived in Callosa d'en Sarrià from 2002 to 2014 we had a farm 3 k from the town half way up the mountain. People very friendly. There is an area of 2 streets in the town where a lot of Brits live, I was told there were +/- 200, don't know if this is fact or fiction.. They are mostly terraced houses no garages. We had a beautiful house with 6,000 sq.m. of garden mostly nisero trees. We moved because too much work with the trees. You definitely need your won transport. There is an Alsa bus but I don't know the frequency.
