New mask restrictions

With the new restrictions are the bars and restaurants in Benidorm mostly open or are many closing until things calm down a bit.

More bars are opening as more visitors arrive. The larger places with dance floors are still closed up as dancing is not allowed. Not as much entertainment as usual either.

Thanks Ray, we're hoping to come out but does depend on what the situation is. Masks are here to stay for the foreseeable future, but don't want to have to spend a week worrying about being pounced on and fined every minute of the day. If you can't enjoy your holiday no point in leaving home. Stay safe.

On my walkabout today i would say about 85% were wearing masks. Yes the mask rules are here to stay for the time being and the police will enforce any rules relating to social distancing and wearing masks even to the extent of closing down bars.
It's very uncomfortable to wear masks in this temperature (30° today) but it's helping to keep the virus at bay. Please don't let it put you off a well deserved holiday.
