Hello everyone

Found this forum this morning and thought to ask a question if I may

I run a small mobile  Coffee  business ( Tuc Tuc piaggio) back in England and was wondering what would be the procedure to find a pitch on the street  to trade from  preferably in Benidorm or somewhere near by

Thought about talking to the local council but there are may be other alternatives I can use.

Any help would be much appreciated, I'm gonna try to post a picture of the Coffee Cup Trailer to give you a better idea about the Business, and for the administrators am not promoting my business yet but I will hopefully register it with you in case I find a trading spot somewhere

Thank you very much

I'm assuming that you are still living in the UK?

If you want to live in Benidorm permanently you will need to initially apply for residency at the Spanish embassy while you are still living in the UK. You will need to prove that you have full healthcare paid for a full year and meet the income requirements.

You will need to apply for a Visa.

Depending on what, how, where, and when you will need several permits and licenses, impossible to predict w/o knowing all detials. After living now for 57 years in this country I stronly recomnmend everyone intersted in settign up any business to familiarize first with customer behaviour and protection, market structures, marketing cost and competition. Appliccable rules and regulations are a further issue, and you will also need soemone to handle all tax matters. Forget about "up and running", you will have to wait for months and months until you have all the necessary permits granted..

If you have to ship the bike down from the UK make sure your paperwork is in order and hopefully you have owned it for more than 6 months or there might be VAT to pay. This might be payable in your first port of entry if you are driving it down so check the regulations there.

As for a budget - you would have to sell how many cups and patisserie to pay the government, rent, utilities, food, storage for the bike, etc.. each month?

Market day(s) should be your best days of the week in each town so travel might be necessary

Good luck
