You might be lucky to find employment with a local builders or even set yourself up as self-employed (which is very expensive here) but I only need to look in the local free papers to find ample builders, English or Spanish, advertising at very competitive prices. Some out of work builders, plumbers and electricians here will do the odd small job for the price of a few pints.

Check out the legalities of living in Spain such as healthcare and getting your NIE number etc. No one knows yet what the requirements will be to gain residencia after Brexit.

It will certainly help if you could speak Spanish.

Sorry to be negative but unemployment here is very high and finding work is not easy in Spain. After this crisis we are in is over unemployment is set to double according to the PM and the country is set for a big recession.
