Hi, My partner and I have taken early retirement and decided to make the move to sunny spain. We have family living in the Villamartin area but we have decided we would probably be happier 10-20 mins further in land so have been looking at villas in the entre naranjos and villas Andreas areas, if anyone could give us some info on either place (pluses/negatives) to help us with our search it would be most appreciated.

Cheers Kush

We live in villas Andrea , it’s fantastic , so peaceful !! Yet we r only 30 minutes from the coast , 20 minute walk into the village (longer coming back because of the hill ) it’s a lovely community if you want to be part of it , the club at the pedrera does good food and drink and right on the doorstep . If you want real Spain this is the place for you

Hi Linda95, thank you for your reply we have reserched as much as possible on the internet but realise untill we visit Villas Andrea in Sept to view properties we will only be getting a fraction of the 'vibe' from pictures, can i ask what percentage of folks live year round would you say ? One concern we do have is that there are a high proportion of villas for sale in the calles we are looking at calle holanda and calle escocia and we are wondering if theres a reson for this ? Again thanks for your reply and hope you will do so again.

Hi, We have just brought a villa also in villas andrea, the place is lovely. The town is a shortish walk and has a market every thursday if you like that kind of stuff.  Murcia is also not far away if you want a bigger city to visit as well as other near by towns with everything you need.  I have also been speaking to Linda and another lady called Joan, who is also moving into the same area.  I am counting down the weeks until I can visit again, we are waiting for the sale to go through and we are planning to move permanently next year.  I don't know if this helps

Hi, Thank you for that, it does help in the respect that it shows us that people are still making the move to buy in these uncertain times. Also that you were happy to choose Villas Andrea. We are over to view in just two weeks now but have to admit we are worrying a bit about the residency problems people are now experiencing.

Cheers Kush

Hi Kush,

If you need any reassuring, I don't know who you are using as a Real Estate company, but I can highly recommend Vincent Real Estate in Benijofar . Speak to a gentleman called John Palmer or Karen Palmer.  they are very helpful and will help with whatever you are looking for and also answer any question you might have regarding moving etc.  Let me know if you need anymore information i.e. contact details

Hi Linda,

They are really helpful, then and still now.  We are waiting to hear when we have our NIE number and the sale has gone through.  So fingers crossed we will out for a quick visit in October and then again in December. Hope to meet up soon x

Thanks again Sally, We will be hopefully looking at three properties in Villas Andrea with casas Manuel. The concerns we have with relocating and getting residency in Spain will only be able to be answered when the out come of Brexit is sorted (hoping its not no deal). We need to get as much as we can in place before hand though so that we can apply for residency as quickly as possible. Kush
