Is it just me or does anyone else think it’s mad for people to bring their dogs to hot humid markets. I was at the market in Playa Flamenca this morning and the amount of people with dogs was unbelievable, I was astonished that these poor animals, all of whom were panting hard, were there. Seriously people just leave the dogs at home where they are comfortable,

I agree, how would the people with the dogs like to be walking around barefoot in a fur coat. Its just cruel.
Omg yes!!!! I was at Cabo roig market last week. It was boiling and these poor dogs being dragged around panting!!! People should stand on the ground, barefoot, and then decide about taking their dogs out. I have 5 dogs and some sunbathe and some don’t. But they would not be walking in this heat

I'm not a dog owner but I am an animal lover --I have never understood this!
Even when its not so hot, some markets are very crowded and small dogs are invisible in the crowds, bigger dogs get knocked into with shopping trolleys etc. Cant see that it is ever enjoyable & seems pretty thoughtless to me.

Some people don't have an option, if their dogs can not be left through many different reasons then it's either they take them or do not go at all. I personally would just stay in doors when it's hot.

There cannot be that number of people with troublesome dogs, for whatever reason that cannot be left on their own in the house or garden for a time.
It’s stupidity.
