Anyone tell me if they have a problem accessing the Caixa app?  They want my digital signature which seems to be a 6 number code.   It’s part of the security and they then text a code to enter which I do but my password (or pin no) doesn’t work.   This I believe is the only num...

...ber I know.

Thank you for any help..

I had a text today from Caixa telling me from 18/01/2022 I would not be able to access my online account. I don't bank with Caxia!! Where they got my number from I would like to know.

I went in to the branch and they gave me a print out of my digital number. I use my finger print to log in but was told I needed this number to prove who I am. I was a bit sarcastic when I went in and asked how many were using my fingerprint.

I tried setting up the finger print but have to assume now that I have never been given a digital signature code.  I will go in next week as usual when over and plead with them to resolve the situation.  Wish me luck 🙈

I seriously doubt it’s CaixaBank. It’s a scam to try and obtain your information. They have either bought your number from, originally probably your phone supplier, or they are using a random number generating program. Don’t even try to reply.

They seem to have assumed we all had a digital signature number from Bankia. I definitely didn’t - am also planning a visit to the branch next time I’m in Spain.

Hi

Tell me about it, we live in the UK, I tried getting in with usual ID what we had for Bankia, I have phoned head office and someone spoke to me in English, I have to contact our Branch in Mazarron for them to set us up for digital, I have tried emailing and I get an email back telling us to go into a bank not in Mazarron but on Camposol, our property is in the Port, and we came  back in November did not think we would have a problem, we dont have bank cards as I have been for years accessing on line with bankia digital she did offer us a credit card in the bank in November but we declined , but if you go on their app they ask for your card pin number , I am going to try and email again this week as I have an email from another member of staff and and will email her, and will ring-head office again, its stupid,

They have been an absolute nightmare since they merged.  My account has been blocked twice, then someone tried using my details to transfer money and I had various messages late at night saying the transfer had not been carried out. I queued for two hours at the bank, the payments showed up on my account and I now have to wait till next week to see whether the bank can stop the payments. They will give me a new debit card and blocked the old one.
I was a nervous wreck!

Hi

Sorry to hear  that, we have had a home since 2004 , first bank Caja Murcia then it went to BMI , then  Bankia, every two years  we have to go into the bank to prove our identity, we went in December 2019 with the proof needed, ok, I found out by asking Aquila can you email me by bills for the water as nyemail address had changed , they told me the contract  was closed and we would need a new contract ,what after 16 years , the bank blocked our account for one direct debit for one month for the  water even though there was plenty of money in the bank, it cost us 182 euros to have the water put back in,  and they are same people who worked for Bankia are the same who work for Caixa, we were over in August until November and was emailed to use the app, Im going to email Mazarron again tomorrow we dont have direct debit cards , I just transfer money from UK and take cash, pain in the backside are Caixa Bank,
