Hi everyone, has anyone else noticed the tele number on the letter anouncing increase for this year no longer exsists ??

Also if you ring the number we all used to ring

00441912187777 now has a recorded message, saying to ring between 9.30 and 3.30 english time for payment queries, I will be trying this as I dont believe I have received  minimum  2.5%  as the goverment informed us earlier in the year

Hope you find this helpful

Hi,

You won't get the full 2.5% until you have a full month. You will get partial payment depending on your payment date. You will get the full percentage on your next payment.

I always thought the increase was paid at the start of new tax year ,I think tax year starts on 6 April and as pension paid a week in arrears I expected to recieve thenew rate the week after 6April ,but had to wait until next pay date ,if they are doing that to everyone quite a saving to government

Bare in mind you only get an increase of 2.5% on your basic pension.  The other parts that go to make up your pension increase by inflation only.  I'm still waiting for my letter.

If you are on the new pension your actual payment goes up by 2.5% but only after a 'full' month after the increase date.
